Is the lower route-choice of Håvard/Anders much faster than my upper route-choice here? I'm not sure..

Among the Danish competitors we discussed a far-left alternative. The route choice kept height entering the control through the marches from south/south-east. Did anybody run that?

I think that there are not any significant differences between taking the control from above and from the right. It all depends on your running ability and your ability to keep a reasonably straight line through the terrain without climbing too much. I do not think that you will gain much by taking a far left alternative. You do not save much climbing, the runnability is probably not better, and its longer.
