Sharp Deconvolution (SDec)

Sharp Deconvolution [1-3] aims to extract a true solution from a confidence domain.
Relevant strategy exploits the following a priori information on the solution:
the latter can be represented by a minimal number of parameters (Sharp Deconvolution),
e.g. by a few spectral lines or a few points in a space/time, a few energies or a few
moments, a  few points from a phase space or from a phase diagrams, etc.
Herewith an example from geophysical exploration is displayed:
given records of seismic pulse reflected by layered media and thus containing
traces of lots of reverberations including free-surface related ones,
find traces of single-reflected waves, assuming that the number of layers should be minimal *.
