Dear Participant, Thank you for registering for the 2nd International Workshop on the Critical Point and Onset of Deconfinement. We look forward to seeing you in Bergen. If you have not already done so, we recommend that you make your Hotel reservation soon. The recommended hotels are listed under "Accommodation" on the Workshop web-page. At the Rica Travel Hotel we have reserved a block of rooms, which will be available until March 10. It is also a good idea to not wait too long to book the airplane ticket. The preliminary program is now on the web. The first part of the workshop is devoted to high-energy nuclear physics, while the second part (the Topical Workshop) deals with detectors and electronics for future experiments. The talks include approximately 10-15 min discussion (5 min for the shorter contributions). In addition to the scientific program, we plan to have a reception at the Department of Physics and Technology on Wednesday 30 March, and a Dinner at Schøtstuene on Saturday 2 April. We are still negotiating to get some support from our sponsors for the dinner, but we might have to charge a modest fee for this. The lunches are included in the Workshop fee and will be served at Bergen University College (approx. 100 m from the Department of Physics and Technology). Sunday afternoon is free for individual activities. We will provide a list of excursions in the vicinity of Bergen. The best way to get from the Airport to the center of the city is to use the airport bus (costs 70 NOK, approx. 8 EUR). The web-page has been updated with some more details on how to get from the bus stop to the Department of Physics and Technology. Check under "Travel". The walk takes about 5 min. A taxi from the airport to the center of the city costs about 250-300 NOK (approx. 30-38 EUR).
