                              Additional Practical Information.

The boat trip from Os near Bergen to Rosendal takes about two hours
and takes us through the beautiful area of the Hardanger Fjord.
The transport from the Bergen city and the Bergen Airport to Os will
be arranged. A chartered bus is planned from one or both of the places,
depending on the final travel arrangements of all the participants.

The Rosendal Barony is wedged into beautiful mountains, which might
tempt many of us to mountain hikes. Those who might feel excited
about this possibility are advised to bring suitable shoes and clothing.
The Rosendal area is close (20 km) to the famous glacier Folgefonn,
but the trips to its top require skis and are not planned during
     the Symposium.
However, we shall visit the glacier's lowest point on our
     Symposium Excursion on Sunday.
